On December 1, 2002, the LotteryCharms.com® creator
was on a ladder that gave way sending him tumbling
15 feet onto the ladder. Ric Wallace was wearing a White
Squirrel
pin and suffered only a broken arm and smashed hand.
He was able to get up and walk away in a lot of pain. The
fall could
have left Ric paralyzed or it could have even been fatal.
Ric was unable
to open a can of soup with a manual can opener for over
9 months. A year of extensive therapy gave him
about 60% use of the hand. The treatment given by the
hospital
and therapist led Ric to purchase a ticket on a dream
home
lottery and on May 31, 2004 he won the
GRAND PRIZE - Dream of a Lifetime Lottery - prize valued
at over $775,00.00.
Black Squirrel pins were worn daily and a Black Squirrel pin was used to attach
the GRAND PRIZE Winning Ticket to a cork board. Also a White Squirrel pin with
the pin back removed was carried in my wallet.
Ric feels it was truly a LUCKY BREAK as his future could
have been cut short on December 1, 2002 had the fall been
fatal.
The Victoria-Park.com web site, the Black Squirrels of
London Song, and the LotteryCharms.com Trade-Mark
would have never been completed. There are many other things
that would have had a different outcome.
Luck is not just about money; sometimes it can just be
living to see a new day.
